Drew Barrymore and Justin Long, both are talented and good looking actors. They met in 2008, more than a decade ago on the sets of He’s Just Not That Into You.
And their relationship went on for two years. Sadly they had to be apart for some reason unknown to the public.
If people fall into a relationship in the first place, they should try to work things out while being ethical and loyal. Otherwise, what’s the point of being in a relationship, if it’s not a lifelong one.
But I also understand that life can be complicated sometimes. And things don’t work out how we plan. At that point, it’s better to be apart because staying together in such a situation can be toxic for both people.
And no one deserves a toxic or bad relationship. It’s not that toxicity happens intentionally. But it just happens when two people are not happy while staying with each other.
Now, if the couple can separate on good terms, they can stay good at each other and keep well wishes for each other after the separation.
Adding my personal experience, the person whom I truly loved, always tried to take benefit of me indirectly. And there’s a saying You don’t take unauthorized benefit of people or backstab people who love you.
So knowing that there’s no reason for me to be on good terms with her.
But here between Drew Barrymore and Justin Long, the situations are totally different. The 50 First Dates actress praised her ex-boyfriend.
One day ago Paper Magazine posted three images of Justin Long on their Instagram page. The caption says the following:
Might get fired for this but. F*ck it. Justin Long appreciation post.
E!Online was quick enough to notice that Drew Berrymore commented on the post. Here’s her comment: “Your [sic] not wrong! He’s great.”
It’s commendable that she praised Justin Long. It shows that she respects the guy as a man that he is.
Long then replied to her comment.
“ah what do YOU know?! I feel like I’m on an episode of This Is Your Life #HipMillenialReference texting you a great photo booth pic I just found during my quarantine clean!”
He also appreciated Paper Magazine by commenting with the following lines.
Whoa! This was such a nice unexpected thing to read (I’m afraid to read the comments though haha). THANK YOU. Really. #PaperMagAppreciationComment!
Here’s are the images that Paper Magazine shared.
