Named Catherine Elise Jordan at birth, Elise was born on the 2nd day of April in 1985 to a Mathematics teacher and a professional dancer.
Elise has established herself as a successful writer, journalist and a political analyst. She supports most of the Republican strategies.
Elise has served as the director for communications at the National Security Council. She also worked as the speechwriter for the American political scientist and diplomat, Condoleezza Rice.
Jordan has worked at the White House Office of presidential speechwriting at the U.S Embassy in Baghdad and the Commanding General’s Strategic Advisory Group at the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) headquarters in Kabul, Afghanistan too.

Since January 14th, 2016 Elise has been a political analyst at MSNBC.
She has often hit out on current American President, Donald Trump.
Elise Jordan’ Married Life & Michael Hastings’ Death
Elise married the famous journalist Michael Hastings on the 21st day of May in 2011 in Hernando, Mississippi.
The couple was happily married until June 18th, 2013 when Michael died in a single-vehicular accident. Witnesses said that Michael’s Mercedes was very fast and flames were coming out of it before it crashed into a palm tree. Michael’s body was burned beyond recognition. The coroner identified him by matching his fingerprints with those that the FBI had.
Many people say that it was a cyber car attack and that Hastings was murdered.
They pointed at this because of the fact that he had often received death threats and days before his death, he asked some of his friends to borrow their car as he was afraid to drive his own.
This may have been because of the hard-hitting stories that he often did like the McChrystal story, he did for The Rolling Stone.

Elise however, said that Michael’s death was nothing but unfortunate and tragic, although she admitted to the fact that Michael was onto something massive during his last days.
Married and With a Husband Again
On September 22, 2017, Elise tied the knot with Vanity Fair’s digital director Mike Hogan. Mike is the former executive entertainment producer of The Huffington Post.
Elise and Mike are said to have tied the knot in a small “bureaucratic-chic, 90-second wedding”. It took place at the New York City clerk’s office in downtown Manhattan.
Mike’s father Jack Hogan, WeWork director of public affairs Lauren Fritts, VF photographer Justin Bishop, and the couple’s corgi Bobby Sneakers were among those present at the ceremony.
