Taylor Swift finally wins the trial of butt groping case against DJ David Mueller. The guy was found guilty of ‘assaulting and battering’ Swift.
What happened is, David lost his job because of his bad behaviour at the radio station KYGO. But, he thinks that Taylor pressurised radio station KYGO to fire him which resulted in his employment’s termination.
So for $3 million in damages, DJ David Mueller sued Taylor Swift, her mother (Andrea Swift) and her radio promotions director. But on Friday, August 11, the judge cancelled the case as he did not find any proof Taylor’s to blame for David’s firing.
Now, here’s an interesting thing, Taylor countersued David for bare $1.
Her statement included that former radio DJ for KYGO touched her inappropriately at a backstage meet-and-greet at Denver’s Pepsi Center on June 2013.

The team of Swift informed KYGO about the incident, and they fired David two days later after doing their own investigation. At the time of the incident, Taylor was 23, and she remembers it all. According to CNN, Taylor said the following in her testimony, when David’s attorney showed her the above image.
“This is what happened, it happened to me, I know it was him. I’m not going to allow you or your client to make me feel in any way that this is my fault because it isn’t.”
Taylor admitted that she had no reaction for the termination of David’s job because of this matter.
“I am being blamed for the unfortunate events of his life that are a product of his decisions and not mine,” Swift added later.
Taylor’s case was presented in court on Monday, August 14. A jury of fine eight members including six women and two men declared former radio DJ David Mueller guilty of “assaulting and battering” Taylor Swift, TMZ report.

The jury also put the word out that Taylor’s mother or her staff has nothing to do with the termination of David’s job.
“Resolution of this Counterclaim will demonstrate that Mueller alone was the perpetrator of the humiliating and wrongful conduct targeted against Ms. Swift, and will serve as an example to other women who may resist publicly reliving similar outrageous and humiliating acts,” Swidft’s countersuit reads, according to heavy.com.
“For this reason, any recovery obtained by Ms. Swift will be donated to charitable organizations dedicated to protecting women from similar acts of sexual assault and personal disregard.”
My Opinion
No woman or girl deserves this kind of unwanted and inappropriate touching from anyone. People who don’t respect woman and carries a filthy mind like Mueller should be punished. Taylor wanted to teach him a lesson that’s why she sued him for $1.
Sexual assaults happen in almost every industry, and girls should take a stand as Taylor did. They are not guilty of this, the person who does this kind of ridiculous activity is the one guilty, and should be punished accordingly.
It’s very generous of Taylor Swift that she’ll be donating money for protecting women against sexual assaults.
